Ever since the start, humans have been finding ways to have a more advanced and ‘modern’ lifestyle with the inventions of gadgets. In today’s world, the “electronic revolution” is increasing and new innovations and invention are being made. Thankfully this comes to our advantage when it comes o going paperless. Not only will the environment be benefited, but the people as well. Since going paperless will reduce the 50% wastes made by business and an average person's expenses will decrease as well. How can we protect the 14% of global wood that is being used to make paper right now?

RECYCLE

Well to start off, let’s try to decrease the number of sheets we use in our daily lives. A-4 size paper is quite common and 12.1 trillion sheets alone are used in U.S offices per year. It’s best to recycle the paper and consume paperless items such as fruits and vegetables without sticker labels. Grocery shops could stop using magazines to advertise items for sale, instead, have a digital screen in various places in the shop. Companies could produce products using edible items as wrappers than paper. This would also reduce water use in paper production by 35%.

USE & REUSE

Instead of throwing the paper away, reuse it. Make a notebook using the other side if not used. This could save 50% of the paper wasted. When it comes to printing, only print what you really need to print. If the document could be used digitally, then it is best to avoid printing. If you need to send an important document to another person that has to be a hard copy then try to speak with the one responsible to allow for a soft copy alter. Remember that every small decision counts. So take the advantage you have and use the electronic devices. We live in a society where approximately 93.3% uses the laptop or desktop computers just for checking the email. In other words, why bother printing if you’ve got access to the document through your email? Smartphones are used as well for email checking. Approximately, 67.2% of society uses smartphones.

From foods such as frozen pizza to items like candles and soaps. Due to the vast variety of product intake, it’s best to reduce this by knowing what you buy. It’s important to spread the word.

Usage Of Fuels

In many countries, the blending of bio-fuels is required by law. It is quite inexpensive and very efficient for the country’s economy. This will prevent people from buying the product, thus causing a reduction in the imports and exports of fuel.

To prevent the expansion of ranches, cut down most of the meat intake and try eating more greens. That doesn’t mean to completely go vegetarian, yet meat consumption needs to be to a limit. Also consume other protein sources than meat such as beans and mushrooms. Meat consumption could lead to health risk factors such as high cholesterol. In order for farmlands and cities to not crash to one another, limiting the way we live is important. In cities, we could work on building higher covering more sky than land.

When it comes to the need of making space other than usage of no man’s sky, birth control is quite important. Approximately, 350 million women in the poorest of countries don’t have access to information to help them reduce the number of children they produce. Leading to more trees cut down to make land available for the following generations.

Providing education for secondary schools is important so that girls of young age could continue to study and not face marriage and childbearing at a young age.
